Give students a quick visual reference for the coding symbols they use during dyslexia and structured literacy instruction!
These Dyslexia Coding Symbol Signs are designed to stay visible and accessible in your classroom so students can independently reference coding marks while reading, spelling, and coding words.
The signs use an easy-to-read kid print and are designed as simple, uncluttered visual references for dyslexia intervention and structured literacy classrooms.
I use these in my own dyslexia classroom by laminating the signs, adding adhesive magnet sheets to the back, and placing them on the whiteboard at the front of the room. Students can quickly look up when they need a reminder of what a coding symbol looks like. The included Initial, Medial, and Final labels also provide a visual reference when students are identifying where a sound occurs in a word.
